Our Purpose
To help build resilience in the local community to prepare for emergency events such as earthquakes, flooding, fire and pandemics.
Coordinate communication with Emergency Management Otago.
Establish Community Emergency Hub(s) – at physical buildings in the event of a natural disaster or emergency.
Supply and circulate local information to assist our community and other emergency services for the safety, protection and wellbeing of our local community in the event of a natural disaster or emergency.
